First Town Series Nordic Races A Huge Success

VHS Ski Coach Pete Toye (12-20-15) – A grand total of 19 happy, healthy, and hardy, Valdez Nordic enthusiasts joined 8 members of the VHS ski team for the inaugural Town Series race of the season and a great time was had by all. The team very much appreciated the support, and added excitement, such great competition brings to the venue. All proceeds went directly to the ski team wax fund. The next open freestyle race (5.4K) will be on January 9 at 2:00pm at USCG Housing on Hanagita street and the second town series race will be held
