Valdez To Host Music Regions
This weekend Valdez will be host to over 500 kids from around the state of Alaska for the Aurora Regional Music Festival. The music festival will begin on Thursday, April 20th and will conclude on Saturday, April 22nd. VHS band and choir members will participate in ensemble adjudications for the chance to perform their ensembles at the State competition in Anchorage. There will be three concerts open to the public. The opening concert will start at 7pm Thursday. On Friday starting at 7pm will be the Solo and Ensemble Command Performance concert. All students will also take part in
