Valdez Ice Climbing Festival

Valdez Adventure Alliance is pleased to announce the Valdez Ice Climbing Festival, sponsored in part through a grant from the City of Valdez, is coming Feb 15th-18th. The Festival features evening events at the Civic Center open to the public, including Mountainfilm on Friday, Tanana Rafters in concert Saturday, and the Ice Ball with speaker and dinner on Sunday.
Women’s Intro to Ice Climbing clinic, sponsored by The Fat Mermaid, is back this year. Marcus Garcia returns to teach the Youth Intro to Ice Climbing clinic and, new this year, a Youth Beginner clinic. Sponsors for youth clinics and youth
