Two Vehicle Car Crash with Injuries in Keystone Canyon

Valdez, AK – Valdez Fire and Police Departments responded to reports of a collision involving two vehicles on the Richardson Highway in Keystone Canyon Thursday afternoon.
At 2:56 p.m. Thursday, Valdez Fire and Police Dispatch received a report of a two vehicle crash at approximately 14.5 mile of the Richardson Highway.
Emergency responders arrived on scene at approximately 3:08 p.m. and discovered a small sport utility vehicle and a pickup truck, both with significant damage.
Emergency medical technicians treated the driver and passenger of the SUV on scene for non-life threatening injuries. Both individuals were transported by ambulance to Providence Valdez Medical
