Road detour reminder for access to HHES

School has started in Valdez. As a reminder, West Klutina Street will be closed to thru traffic from Hazelet Avenue to Clark Street next week due to ongoing road construction.
For your safety and the safety of others, please follow posted signs and established detour routes for access to Hermon Hutchens Elementary School (see map above). Electronic signs with reminders for
motorists will be posted in several places along detour routes.
For access to the school parking lot, please use either Egan Avenue/Pioneer Drive to Clark Street or West Hanagita Street to Cottonwood Drive. Parent pick-up/drop-off on the Pioneer side of the
