Ports & Harbor Commission Recognize the F/V Kingfisher Crew

The Ports & Harbor Commission recognized the Captain and Crew of the F/V Kingfisher.  Captain Thane Miller and his crew, Diane Schreier, Lisa Clemens, and Larry Noble,  pulled five individuals out of the water after their 27 foot recreational vessel, Pure Pleasure, sank this summer.  The crew was responsible for the survival of the two women and three men who were clinging to an overturned rubber boat.  The Commission also recognized the efforts made by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Valdez Fire Department.
