Norris Takes 6th in Qaniq Challenge
(1-18-16) – This past weekend, the VHS skiers participated in the two-day Qaniq Challenge in Valdez. The race was broken up into two days for a total of 23 miles between two different courses. The race consisted of the people of Valdez and several U.S. champions from APU as well as two-time Olympian—Holly Brooks. Skier Rylee Norris finished 6th overall in the women’s division. VHS skier Ben Swanson also finished 10th overall in the men’s division.
