A press release from the Coast Guard describes rescuing six people aboard a disabled vessel on Sunday but didn’t mention a local Valdez man who initially towed the boat two hours in rough waters from Hinchinbrook Entrance to Port Etches. Josh Miller was on an overnight fishing trip and responded to a distress call with his boat the Kai Moana.
