First Alaskan Capitol Christmas Tree Arrives in D.C.

After a journey of 3,411 miles, the first Alaskan Capitol Christmas tree arrives in D.C. Read the Capitol press release HERE.

The tree has been featured in various events across the country and was the theme of an essay contest: “Why is it special to have a Christmas tree from Alaska?”  See the winning essay HERE.
