Elks Tournament This Weekend

(02-08-16) – This Thursday through Saturday over 200 high school basketball players and cheerleaders will join the Valdez Buccaneers for the annual Valdez Elks Basketball Tournament. Grace, Eielson, Nikiski, Kotzebue, Nome, Cordova, Seward and Valdez will be the teams competing during the tournament. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 9am this Thursday in the VHS Gym. The girls first game will start at 6pm on Thursday against the Seward Seahawks. Following the girls game, the boys team will compete against Seward at 7:30pm on Thursday.
