City working to redesign and rebuild City’s data network

The City’s data network was hit last week with a ransom ware attack. Tuesday, the Council will be voting to transfer money to the Information Services Department for contractual services related to getting network rebuilt.

On July 27th, the City made the announcement that a computer virus was detected in the City’s computer infrastructure. All city computers and servers were then shut down in order to prevent further compromise.
