Bucs Travel to State
This week the VHS varsity basketball teams are traveling to Anchorage for the 3A state tournament at the Alaska Airline Center. The tournament is scheduled to take place this Thursday through Saturday. This is the first time both Valdez teams will travel to the state tournament since 2013. There are eight 3A teams in the tournament. The Lady Bucs are seeded as the 7th overall team. Their first game will be at 11am Thursday, March 23th against Sitka. The Boys team is seeded as the 5th overall team, and their first game of the tournament will start at 3:30pm
