Buccaneer Boys Impress In Their First Conference Games, Mott Standout Play For Buccaneer Games This Weekend

(1-11-16) – This past weekend the VHS basketball teams played their first games at home against the Hutchison Hawks. These games also marked the first conference games for the buccaneer season.

The boys varsity team had a strong victory Friday, winning 44-32. In the beginning the Hawks kept it close with second chance points and full court press. In the third quarter the Bucs went on a run and pulled away from the Hawks. The Bucs were led by junior Seth Auble who scored eight straight points in the 3rd quarter and finished the game with 19 points. The Varsity
