Boys Team Had Strong Play In 3 Game Weekend
The boys varsity team finished the weekend with a 2-1 record for the first conference games of the season. The Bucs first game of their road trip was against Delta last Thursday. The 1st and 2nd quarters were even for the teams with the Huskies leading at half 21-19. In the next half the Bucs couldn’t seem to diminish the deficit and lost 66-53. Valdez was led by senior Seth Auble who scored 17 points and tallied 7 rebounds.
On Friday, the Buccaneers travelled to Fairbanks to play two games against the Hutchison Hawks. Valdez had a much better outing
