Book Basket donations being accepted

The Valdez Consortium Library is hosting the 19th Annual Book Basket Auction Saturday, November 3rd and they are looking for donations of baskets to auction. They are encouraging all businesses, organizations, families, and individuals to donate.
Baskets are to be developed around a theme (such as gardening, sci-fi, true crime, etc.) and should contain at least one new book and other items related to theme. Baskets may be dropped off at the library no later than 8pm Thursday, November 1st.
Proceeds will be used to enhance the library’s collection.
