All-State Music Festival
This weekend is the annual All-State Music Festival. The festival is an event where high school musicians audition months in advance to participate as members of a select statewide band, choral or orchestra music ensemble. This year four VHS students were selected to participate in the Festival, Gabby Franklin (choir), Hali Baczuk (choir), Isaac Fannin (choir), and Rylee Norris (band). The students will travel up to Anchorage this Wednesday and take part in two days of rehearsal at East Anchorage High School to prepare for the gala concert on Saturday.
