9.5% of voters participated in last Tuesday’s election

Of the 3,320 registered voters in Valdez, 317 ballots were cast. 248 cast regular ballots, along with 13 questioned ballots (1 was disqualified), and 57 absentee ballots. 247 people voted Yes for Prop. 1 and 70 people voted No.
