250 Student Athletes compete at GMS Basketball Tournament
Twenty four different teams hit the court in the GMS Basketball tournament and 46 games were played. At the end of the tournament, the Valdez girls A and B teams took 1st place in the Championship games. The Valdez Boys A team finished in 2nd place and the Valdez Cheerleaders took 1st place in the cheerleading competition. Ava Marshall, Kylie Arland, Angelina Grande and Kat Taylor of Valdez were named to the All-Tournament Cheerleading team. AJ Mann, and Anthony Kelley made the All-Tournament team for the Valdez B Boys team, Peyton Wade was named the MVP of the Girls
