Lemonade Day Alaska Empowers Today’s Kids to be Tomorrow’s Leaders and Entrepreneurs

June 9th Kicks-Off Alaska’s 8th Year Celebrating Lemonade Day

 – Lemonade Day Alaska is a statewide program teaching children business and leadership skills by walking them through how to plan, start, and launch their own business – a lemonade stand.

In 2017, Alaskan participants averaged $230 per stand with 40% of their proceeds donated to charities. In one day, this translates to $205,900 earned by youth entrepreneurs for saving and spending and $137,200 of their profit being donated to charities.
