12 Women Honored at AVV’s Women & Young Women of Distinction Awards Ceremony

After 10 years, the Women of Distinction event put on by Advocates for Victims of Violence is still going strong. Naomi Ray was awarded Young Woman of the Year and 12 women were honored before a huge crowd at the Civic Center. Ray used her moment at the microphone to talk about how welcoming and special Valdez is as a community.
