GMS Sweeps Delta Basketball Tournament
GMS SWEEPS DELTA TOURNAMENT
The Gilson Middle School Basketball teams and Cheer squad went to Delta this past weekend to compete in a tournament. Valdez swept the tournament, taking 1st place in the boys and girls Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions.
The Boys A Team dominated the Varsity tournament at the Delta Tournament. “All of our kids played extremely hard,” said Coach Joe Robison. “We got better with each game, and their hard work paid off with winning the championship.
