Seven Valdez High School students to compete in Academic Decathlon

140 high school students representing 12 high schools from across the state will converge in Anchorage in hopes of out-smarting their competitors at the 32nd Annual Alaska Academic Decathlon, including seven Valdez students. Students have been diligently training for months to prepare for the rigorous, all-academic competition, which showcases some of the best of Alaska’s bright young minds at all levels of academic abilities.
