Severed Fiber Optic Cable in Kansas leads to Cancellation of AK School Tests

 

The University of Kansas facility that hosts Alaska’s online tests lost internet service last Tuesday after a fiber optic cable was accidentally severed by a construction worker.  Testing was scheduled to resume Thursday but continued disruptions led to the tests being cancelled completely.
