Lady Bucs Win in Monroe

(2-22-16) – The girls varsity team had success in Fairbanks this past weekend against the Monroe Catholic Rams. On Friday the Lady Bucs were firing on all cylinders and won 52-34. After a massive win on Friday, Valdez had a closer, more competitive game on Saturday. The Monroe Catholic Rams had a better defensive presence in Saturday’s game which caused some difficulties for Valdez and the Rams were able to keep the score close. In the final minutes the Lady Bucs held on winning by a narrow margin, 32-31.
