Girl Scout Women of Science
Dr. Angela Alfaro organized an event for Girl Scouts this Saturday at Hermon Hutchens. About 40 girls in Kindergarten through 7th grade worked with local volunteer EMT’s Grace Huhndorf, Rhonda Williams, and Nona Allen, learned about physical therapy from Gigi Obren and got hands on experience suturing bananas under the direction of Alfaro.
