Tom Hsieh, President and CEO of Ravn Alaska, filed a 140 day notice with the Department of Transportation to terminate subsidized scheduled air service between Anchorage and Valdez effective September 30, 2025, or, to the extent permitted, sooner. Ravn cited having to file this notice “due to unanticipated developments with its fleet of Dash 8 aircraft”. Answers or objections to the notice are due on or before June 3, 2025.
