For our Question of the Week, we asked Valdez residents to share their well wishes for 2023 graduates.
Here are your responses:
Kaden Addler: Congrats! You should be proud of yourself and the work you’ve put in for yourself through your school career. Moving forward, it’s okay not to know what your next steps are and where your paths may lead in the future. Just keep doing the right things, by your standards, and striving to be a good person. Love others unconditionally, and as you walk the path of love and grace, your path will unfold for you in magical ways. Destiny will pull you in the right directions if you’re listening and looking for her signs. Continue to challenge yourself and grow and improve. You’ll inevitably hit road bumps along the way, but take them in stride. These too shall pass. The bumpier the road, the stronger the person at the end. Don’t forget your not alone. Everyone around you is also creating their stories filled with struggles and successes. Reach out when you need a hand. Offer a hand when others reach out to you. Take time each day to focus on all you have to be grateful for. Good luck lil’ ducks! Enjoy the big wide world!
Kathy Todd: Remember that what God requires of us is that we not quit trying.
Anonymous: Well done! You have the potential to make a positive impact on the world. Use your knowledge, skills, and unique perspectives to contribute to your communities, bring about positive change, and create a better future for all. Believe in yourselves, stay true to your values, and never stop reaching for the stars.
