KVAK Hiring Part-Time Studio Operator & Sports Reporter

KVAK is hiring a part-time studio operator and editing assistant. Must be available one night a week and a few hours a week in the afternoon or evening to prepare sports updates and edit interviews and podcasts. Our part-time operator and assistant Barrett will be leaving for college in the Fall, and we are hoping to train someone this summer who can work 4 to 8 hours year-round. Employee will prepare sports updates and edit interviews and podcasts. Other opportunities include: assisting with a Kids Broadcasting Camp; operating board for live events; and helping with local promotions and events. We will teach the right applicant everything they need to know to work behind the scenes as part of our broadcast team. Applicant must be computer literate, reliable and punctual.
