The most popular booth was manned by Scott McCumby and Aaron Baczuk who dressed the part to entice students to purchase luxury vehicles.
The College & Career Center at Valdez High School hosted a Financial Reality Fair last Tuesday with Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union. Several volunteers from the community volunteered for this event that proved to be a fun, hands-on way for students and young adults to learn about managing personal finances. The goal of the fair was to give students a feel for real-life budgeting.
“It was fun to see the students engaged and learning from the Financial Reality Fair,” said event organizer Morgan Melton.
