The City of Valdez Building Maintenance Department is in immediate need of snow shovelers. Under supervision of Building Maintenance Staff this position will remove snow from City facilities and provide other snow removal support as needed. Work is performed in an outdoor environment on sidewalks and/or roof tops. Wind, ice, and other dangerous conditions may exist.
Qualified applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid Driver’s license, must have clean driving record to drive city vehicles
- Small snow removal equipment experience is preferred
This is a temporary, non-benefited position working up to 37.5 hours per week as needed. Rate of pay $23.45 per hour. Positions are open until filled.
