The City of Valdez 2022 road construction updates for the week of September 21st thru September 28th.
Asphalt paving is complete on East Hanagita Street and the road will be open to all traffic later this week. The bike path will also re-opened for public use. Landscaping and other work is still in progress. Street lighting will not be installed until late October. Continue to use the detour to the alternate ER entrance and the Valdez Senior Center until the new roadway is officially open.
Please follow all traffic control instructions and take extra precautions around heavy equipment and flaggers.
