(JUNEAU, Alaska) –The Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) 2025–2026 summer schedule is now open for bookings, covering travel May 1, 2026 – Sept. 30, 2026.
“As we head into Summer 2026, the Alaska Marine Highway System is moving forward with momentum and optimism,” said AMHS Director Craig Tornga. “We’re actively advertising for the replacement of the MV Tustumena—a major step toward renewing our fleet—and we’ve completed a significant repower capital project on the MV Kennicott, improving efficiency and reliability for years to come. In addition, we’ll be releasing the RFP this month for the MV Tazlina crew quarters addition, further investing in our vessels and the people who operate them. Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to a stronger, more dependable marine highway for Alaska’s coastal communities.”
The summer schedule is designed to align with special events in coastal communities and support reliable connections across the network. AMHS may contract supplemental service if service disruptions occur.
