MSRC 737 Dispersant Airplane Walk-Around

Polar Tankers, Inc. announces the arrival of the MSRC 737 Dispersant Airplane to the Valdez airport. The community in invited to a static walk-around of the 737-dispersant aircraft, offering a unique opportunity to learn about its design, functionality, and the technology used for dispersant operations. Children are welcome to participate in the static walk-around tour; however, due to safety concerns, they will not be allowed to board the aircraft.
The static walk-around will be available:
- Monday, May 12: from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Tuesday, May 13: from 8:00 AM to Noon and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The plane is scheduled to depart Valdez on Wednesday, May 14 around 10:30 AM.
In its departure, the airplane will provide a dispersant demonstration using a spray of water around the area of Naked Island. A spotter plane will document the demonstration.
