Lane closure and construction on the Richardson Highway will continue past the seven days originally posted as weather conditions allow for continued work. Contractors will continue to install the temporary pads for the City Sewer System Upgrades. The more work that can be done now reduces the amount needed next summer.
Work will continue for the next few weeks. Barricades will be set up, and flaggers will manage traffic control from 6:30 a.m.- 7:30 p.m. Highway lanes and the bike path will be re-opened to traffic with barricades removed and no flaggers on-site from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Safety flaggers will safely escort Individuals traveling on the bike path near the work area to the other side of the highway and back until they bypass the equipment and area under construction.
