The VHS swimmers traveled back up to Fairbanks this weekend to swim in the Lathrop Invite for their homecoming meet. On day one of back-to-back meets, Captain Grant Osburn got first place in the 50 free. Joslyn Unger swam the 100 Breast and placed second.
Day two was a bit more fruitful with Senior Joshua Sims, Junior Grant Osburn, and Sophomore Garrett Sutton getting Personal Records in their individual events. Freshman Mariah Hoffman placed first in the 200 Individual Medley. And the VHS boys relay team got first place in the 200
Medley Relay.
Next week the team will travel to North Pole to compete before hosting their homecoming meet Sept19th and 20th.
