The City of Valdez is offering a seasonal, first-ever scrap metal drop-off program to help residents and local businesses safely dispose of unwanted metal materials. This free service gives our community an opportunity to reduce clutter, improve property conditions, and recycle unwanted metal materials—all at no cost to residents. Use this program to clean up properties and bring in unused or abandoned metal items for safe and responsible disposal. The City Baler on Sawmill Drive is open 9am to 5pm Monday through Saturday.
