VFDA is looking for a qualified applicant to fill its Fish Tech III / Harvester Operator position. Tentative start date is June 2, 2025. This is a seasonal, exempt (agriculture) position starting at $24.93/hr. This position will operate VFDA’s aquatic harvester to remove vegetation from the mouth of Robe River, the lake and its creeks to ensure that the returning salmon have access to the gravel beds necessary to spawn. This position will also assist with the preventative maintenance of the harvester.
