The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) is reducing the number of pots allowed to be used per person and per vessel in the 2024 Prince William Sound (PWS) noncommercial (sport and subsistence) shrimp pot fishery.

In favor of protecting rockfish populations and ensuring sport fishing opportunities in the future, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) is reducing the rockfish bag and possession limit in Prince William Sound from 4 per day, 8 in possession to 3 per day, 6 in possession, of which only 1 per day, 1 in possession can be a nonpelagic rockfish.
