Courtesy of Regina Blood- The Valdez Youth Wrestling Club, known as the Valdez Blizzards competed in the 2023 Alaska USA State Championship Tournaments last weekend. The championships are made up of 3 Tournaments, Folkstyle, Greco-Roman and Freestyle. Valdez wrestlers made quite an impression at all three tournaments with the following kids ending up on the podium:

The Blizzards also earned the title of the Division II 1 st Place Team for the Freestyle Championships!
