Courtesy of VHS Staff – We had a very successful music festival this weekend. 11 of our music students (listed below) qualified to participate in the Solo and Ensemble Festival at the state level, which will be hosted in May at UAA. Students were in rehearsals from 8am to 10pm on Friday and gave a number of performances on Friday and Saturday as well to judges, peers, and the Anchorage community. Alina Kockentiet earned an overall Command performance, the honor given to the top soloists in each category on Friday.
