Throw Down in Snow Town
Buccaneer wrestling finally returned to Valdez this past weekend at the Throwdown in Snowtown Tournament. Leading the way for the Bucs was Sophomore Carlie Vanbuskirk and Junior Mckennan Mayer, placing 1st at 138G and 171 pounds. Also placing were: Sophomores Dawson Dupey (2nd 119), Jarrett Gage (2nd 125), Dalen Beck (2nd 152), and Romen Weber (3rd 160). I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the fans/community members who decided to come by and support our wrestlers. Next week the Bucs will travel to West Valley for the Dustin Baxter Memorial Tournament.
