The Valdez City Schools budget is being presented to the Board Monday night. According to an agenda statement put together by Amber Cawley, the district budgeted for 670 students (620 students and 50 home school students). The budget for 2022-2023 school year shows a reduction of two certified positions and one paraprofessional. The Board will vote on changes to the Classified Salary Schedule and will vote on a proposed increase to the Classified Staff and Administration Salary Schedule of:
2.5% increase – 2022-2023 School Year
2.5% increase – 2023-2024 School Year
2.0% increase – 2024-2025 School Year
