FROSTY FEVER PROMOTIONS PLANNING ASSISTANT

NorthWave Communications is seeking a qualified candidate to help with planning, organization and implementation of our 2022 Frosty Fever Event in Valdez. KVAK’s Frosty Fever is a 9-day event that features cash prizes on-air, winter carnival events and discounts at local businesses. Duties include: Working with businesses, answering phones and e-mail; organizing sales information and assisting on location and in the studio with events. If you are detail-oriented, like to organize and work in a fast-paced environment we need you on the NorthWave Communications team.
KVAK will train the right person. This is going to be a great event for our community, but it is also very fun for our staff to put on. If you are a team player looking for a part-time job to earn extra money this might be a fun job for you. This is a one-time opportunity but could work into a year-round, part-time position. MARKETING & PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT
20 to 30 Hours Per Week / Year-Round

Duties include: working with clients ; developing promotional flyers and forms; event organization, and assisting with radio programs, events and features. The ideal candidate would have good computer skills, enjoy working with others in a fast-paced environment and be able to organize and work independently.
