NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

The Valdez Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the Civic Center Conference Room.

The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony concerning a Conditional Use Permit application for a Recreational Vehicle Campground to be located on A portion of Lot 3, Sleepy Hollow Addition, Plat 77-3 and a portion of USS 349 as depicted by Record of Survey, recorded as Plat 2015-1. The property address is 293 E Egan Drive (located immediately south of DOT maintenance facility). The application has proposed 10 RV camping sites and a personal shop/storage. The applicant and property owner is Camp Happy Incorporated / Jeff and Laura Saxe.

The public is encouraged to submit comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting. Submitted comments will be presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Submissions by email may be sent to: bwall@valdezak.gov.
