The Valdez Legislative Information Office is a non-partisan office dedicated to serving the legislative interests of Alaskans.

LIO staff can help make understanding and participating in the legislative process easy for constituents.

The LIO can help you:

• Track bills through the legislative process
• Communicate effectively with your legislators
• Testify at teleconferenced hearings or submit written
  

  testimony

• Submit Public Opinion Messages (POMs) to Legislators or
  

  Committees

• Find laws and statutes
• Register to vote or change party affiliations
• Assist with PFD applications-online or paper
• Provide PFD applications
• Certify identification documents requested by the PFD office
• Subscribe to weekly newsletters during Legislative session
• Understand how to use the Legislative website & mobile app
