On Friday, June 24th, significant activity took place at Valdez Glacier lake that impacted the Valdez Glacier recreation area and increased the water levels in the Valdez Glacier stream. City employee Scott Benda had the opportunity to fly over the Valdez Glacier and the Glacier Lake above it in a helicopter.
