Lyric Leverenz caught a 14.72 lb silver salmon to earn her 2nd in the derby overall. Leverenz came down to Valdez from Fairbanks on labor day weekend. On Friday she caught a silver that would have won her the daily, but she had not purchased a derby ticket. On Saturday Leverenz make sure to get a derby ticket and that action sure payed off as Leverenz won 2nd over all in the Silver Salmon Derby. Listen to this podcast to learn all about it.
