KTUU- Gov. Bill Walker on Thursday evening borrowed a line from Sen. Click Bishop, R-Fairbanks, in his second State of the State speech, summing up what was the theme of the night as well as what is at stake during the lawmaking session that began earlier this week.
“When a reporter asked him to list the three top issues this session, Senator Bishop responded, ‘They are, and in this order: the budget, the budget, and the budget,” Walker said to the lawmakers who crowded the House Chambers as he delivered his second annual address to the Legislature.
