Romona Mooney: A Dall sheep running down the side of the road .. last week.. with Keana in back seat seeing it as well. Very cool.

Marvin Hood: At Tonsina lake trail a Lynx ran through the middle of camp with music blaring loud.; It ignored us entirely as if it didn’t see or hear us and kept strolling on.

Anonymous: One night I parked over by the docks and as I sat in my truck, a bald eagle flew into my windshield! It looked surprised and so did I.

Anonymous: I was in my backyard one day, and a vole went running across the yard, followed by a bird, followed by a cat. The vole looked back and saw the cat, then ran straight for the bird. I guess it thought it had better chances than with the cat.

Anonymous: A magpie showed up in my neighborhood and people thought they were going crazy because it could talk like a parrot. It must have been someone’s pet at one time. It stayed in the area for a few weeks, talking to people it would encounter, then it was gone.

Anonymous: We took a family trip by boat and left our vehicle in a parking lot. When we returned, there were ants everywhere inside the vehicle! Apparently they were after our snacks but there were so many of them! It took multiple times vacuuming and some hot weather before they were all gone.

Anonymous: There’s a cat that sort of belongs to the neighborhood – it just showed up one day and hasn’t left. It came by not too long ago and someone had shaved it, all but its head and the tip of its tail so it looked like a lion. Strangest looking thing!
