The Pink Salmon Cook-off is happening July 15^th! If you’d like to participate in the cook-off, submit your registration to the  Parks & Recreation office no later than 5pm on July 10^th. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis, and only 15 participants will be accepted.

Recipes must be submitted by July 10^th so judges may review them and determine originality. Judging will be based on the taste, texture, creativity, appearance, and ease of preparation.

There will be two classes, pro and amateur.

The top 5 participants will receive awards, including a first place prize of $1,000 CASH, $750 for second, $500 for third, and $250 for 4^th!

Complete rules and a registration form can be found online on the City of Valdez website or kvakradio.com. Submit your registration for the Valdez Pink Salmon Cook-off no later than 5pm on July 10^th.
